Dave Wilson (Terence Stamp) is a tough English ex-con fresh out of prison who travels to Los Angeles to avenge his daughter's death. His investigation has him encountering and confronting some of L.A.'s toughest drug criminals. After surviving a near-death beating, getting thrown from a building and being chased down a dangerous mountain road, the Englishman decides to dole out some bodily harm of his own. He learns that his daughter had been having an affair with a famous record producer, Terry Valentine (Peter Fonda) and that he is somehow tied to the drug and money laundering business.
